We are a Care in the Community Site for veterans with hearing healthcare needs! Here are a few basics about Care in the Community.
You must be a veteran enrolled with the VA. If you are not already enrolled with the VA, it would be helpful to talk to the Service Officer located at the courthouse. We are also able to answer some questions regarding this process if needed.
Once enrolled, you must be a 60 minute drive or further from your closest VA (Lincoln or Omaha) to qualify to be seen here. Veterans located in David City and further West and North have been qualifying for distance.
We have paperwork for your VA Primary Care doctor to sign that allows you to be seen at our clinic.
Once that paperwork is signed, we can get you scheduled and get the process of VA Care in the Community started! Services are all inclusive – including hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings, repairs, etc.
